Pursuant to current data protection regulations ("Privacy Regulations"), including EU Regulation 2016/679 ("GDPR") and the provisions of the Data Protection Authority ("Privacy Authority"), Flyip S.r.l., as data controller (the "Company" or the "Controller"), provides users (hereinafter the "Users" or, individually, the "User") with the following information regarding cookies installed on the domain www.memofly.it (the "Site") and its subdomains accessible through the Site.

What are cookies

Cookies are text and number files that are installed during navigation on a website, in the memory of the device (PC, smartphone or tablet) connected to the Internet through the browser application installed on it. These files allow collecting information about the User's navigation on the site, in order to ensure the functioning of the site itself as well as to improve the User's browsing experience.

Cookies can be stored permanently on the User's device (so-called "persistent cookies"), until the predetermined expiration (minutes, days, years), or they can be automatically deleted when the browser is closed (so-called "session cookies"). Cookies can also be installed by the site visited by the User (so-called "first-party cookies"), or they can be installed by other websites (so-called "third-party cookies").

Types of cookies used and their purposes

Technical cookies

They are needed for the Site to work and to store the choice made by the User on the cookie banner. They do not require the User's consent. The Site uses first-party technical cookies and, for the same purpose, some data saved in the browser's local storage.

Marketing cookies

These are third-party cookies, set by Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd. (Meta Pixel) and Google Ireland Ltd. (Google Ads and Google Analytics) only after the User's consent. They are used to measure the effectiveness of our advertising campaigns, to collect statistics on how the Site is used and to show more relevant ads on these providers' platforms. Until the User gives consent, the Site does not load the Meta and Google tools and does not contact their servers.

On some pages the Site also records anonymous measurement events without cookies and without storing anything on the User's device, as described in the Privacy Policy.

Managing cookie preferences

On the first visit to any page of the Site, a banner appears with two equally prominent buttons, "Accept all" and "Decline all". By closing the banner with the "X" or by continuing to browse, the User gives no consent: only technical cookies remain active. The banner and the recording of the choice are managed through the CookieScript service.

The User can change or withdraw their choice at any time from the "Cookie settings" button at the bottom right, from the "Cookie preferences" item at the bottom of the Site's pages, or from here. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing based on consent given before the withdrawal.

6. Deselect "Accept cookies from sites" and save your preferences

Safari

1. Open Safari
2. Choose "Preferences" from the toolbar
3. Select the "Security" panel
4. In the "Accept cookies" section, specify if and when Safari should save cookies

After these operations, however, some web page functions may not be performed correctly.

Communication and disclosure of data

Data collected using cookies may be processed by our employees and collaborators as persons authorized to process data pursuant to the Privacy Regulations. Such data may also be processed by trusted companies that perform technical and organizational tasks on our behalf.

Data collected through marketing cookies is also processed by Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd. and Google Ireland Ltd. under their respective policies (Meta, Google) and may be transferred to the United States, on the basis of the safeguards provided by the GDPR (EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework). Data collected using cookies will not be disclosed.

User Rights

Users are always entitled to access their personal data, to request its rectification, updating if incomplete, erroneous or collected in violation of the law, erasure as well as to revoke at any time the consent given or to object to, or restrict, their processing for legitimate reasons.
